Schools can request scholarship funds at any point during the academic year, provided the request aligns with the student’s period of academic enrollment. It’s essential that the timing of the fund request corresponds with the enrolled academic session to ensure proper allocation and use of scholarship resources.
For the 2023-24 school year in Indiana, a family’s income must be at or below 300% of the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Income Guidelines to qualify for a student scholarship under the School Scholarship Tax Credit program. This means the income limits are based on the household size and adjusted gross income. For example, the income limit for a household of four is $166,500.
